Well Knit-Wits is off the ground and we have had our first 2 evenings @ Liquid.
Only 2 of us so far, but the interest is growing. Next week Catherine should join us who does miniture knitting, so looking forward to see her work. Also one of the bar staff said that a friend of theirs @ the University may come next week, who makes knitted pots.
We are growing, slowly but surely. Christmas will probably be difficult, but the New Year, should see an influx.
Coventry's first knitting club (est. 09-11-05) - we meet every Wednesday, 7-9pm @ Golden Cross pub, Hay Lane, Coventry CV1 5RF. Come along and say hello, it's free to join and without obligation. We mostly comprise knitters and crocheters, but some of us sew and tat also. Any craft you can reasonably do in a pub is welcome!
