Thought it would be fun to start a group project.
Soo...how about if each of us knits a tension square 10cm x 10cm. They can be made from any yarn and personalised with embroidered initials etc. You don't have to stick to stocking stitch, so they could be cable, or fair isle or any other pattern you fancy.
Once we have a few then they can be stitched together to start a group banner displaying the members work, which can be added to when new members join.

Coventry's first knitting club (est. 09-11-05) - we meet every Wednesday, 7-9pm @ Golden Cross pub, Hay Lane, Coventry CV1 5RF. Come along and say hello, it's free to join and without obligation. We mostly comprise knitters and crocheters, but some of us sew and tat also. Any craft you can reasonably do in a pub is welcome!
