Coventry Knit-Wits are issuing a knitting challenge to all those who can help.
We are knitting for 44 orphans aged 6 months to 3 years in Lutsk Orphanage in the Ukraine. Our Blog has more details and will keep a log of the progress through the challenge and the delivery of the clothes

We need knitted or crocheted articles in the following categories
Hats
Socks or booties
Gloves
Cardigan or jumper
If you can help us by pledging to knit just on or 2 articles it would help tremendously.
Please pledge by emailing kellie.james@ntlworld.com with the article you want to make eg a 6-12 month hat for a girl. We will then list it on the blog so we keep track and send to posting information.

Coventry's first knitting club (est. 09-11-05) - we meet every Wednesday, 7-9pm @ Golden Cross pub, Hay Lane, Coventry CV1 5RF. Come along and say hello, it's free to join and without obligation. We mostly comprise knitters and crocheters, but some of us sew and tat also. Any craft you can reasonably do in a pub is welcome!
