...we meet every Wednesday night, 7 to 9pm, at the Liquid Cafe & Wine bar. It's at the Shelton Square end of the Coventry Arcade. Showing my age now, there used to be a bird cage there, and the pub was the Bug and Black Bat, later a Rosie O'Gradys, and now it's a lap-dancing club!
Everyone's welcome, and you don't just have to knit - we do crochet, embroidery, sewing. One week Kellie brought drop spindles and we had a spinning night! We generally just have a good chat about whatever comes up - yarn shops, the Eurovision, whatever! You don't have to come every week, either - sometimes life just gets in the way of the knitting, despite our best efforts!
Liquid serve some smashing hot chocolate with whipped cream, and herbal teas, and even cake, if you so desire, alongside the usual alcofrolick stuff :)

Coventry's first knitting club (est. 09-11-05) - we meet every Wednesday, 7-9pm @ Golden Cross pub, Hay Lane, Coventry CV1 5RF. Come along and say hello, it's free to join and without obligation. We mostly comprise knitters and crocheters, but some of us sew and tat also. Any craft you can reasonably do in a pub is welcome!
