Coventry's first knitting club (est. 09-11-05) - we meet every Wednesday, 7-9pm @ Golden Cross pub, Hay Lane, Coventry CV1 5RF. Come along and say hello, it's free to join and without obligation. We mostly comprise knitters and crocheters, but some of us sew and tat also. Any craft you can reasonably do in a pub is welcome!

Welcome!
For anyone who hasn't been before, we're a collection of knitters and crocheters of all ages, and we love meeting new people and passing on our skills. If you've always wanted to learn to knit or crochet, or if you want to progress your skills, do pop by! We meet in a pub - it's a rather old building, partly an old butchers, so the lighting isn't great in winter- so light-coloured yarn is best. We meet 7-9pm every Wednesday night, in the Whitefriars pub in Gosford St. Those of us who drive, park in the nearby Gosford St carpark, which is 50p all evening after 6pm. We tend to meet in the right hand room if there's space, because in winter there's a real fire in there. But if you can't find us, ask at the bar.

Sure, just pop along - we're there every Wednesday! Bring some smooth DK yarn, some 4mm needles or a 4mm crochet hook.

Coventry market has a wool stall so that would be one place. You could also try Busy Fingers in the Arcade, or Hobbycraft near the station.
