Shawl - progress report

Change of yarn - the stuff I packed to take to Wales would make great dishcloths, but not such a pretty shawl. Bought some Wendy luxury cotton.

The Sweet Pea shawl from the Happy Hooker book.

Four rows of shells done so far. Everyone at the Builth Wells SnB complimented me on it (including the landlady), and a few more people decided to make it.

I must complain about the author's implication that she ran it up so she could wear it the next day. This is two or three evenings and afternoons work, and I've many more rows to do yet! I can only imagine she's not working during the day! Pah!
